these recordings were made @ kleylehof/burgenland in june 2004 and september 2005. we recorded from scratch and generated songs from recorded bits and parts. the experience was both hilarious and fatal. and yes - we like the results very much.

wasser holen, grosse mengen. erhitzen auf dem feuer – stunden. einweichen der waesche, bedecken mit pottasche, ueberbruehen mit sodalauge, bleuen, buersten, reiben, stampfen, spuelen, bleichen, staerken, wringen, aufhaengen, ausbessern, strecken, mangeln und buegeln. loecher bohren, haken befestigen, seil spannen. audiogeraete und instrumente transportieren, aufbauen, aufhaengen, hinlegen, anbringen, positionieren. diskutieren. besprechen. hoeren, zeit nehmen, veraendern, verschieben. auftreten. zum klingen bringen.

global siesta was a 22 hour live radio program as part of radioart.zone esch '22.
cycling through 22 time zones in 22 hours, billy roisz and dieb13 did a (live-)remix of radio and streaming sources from around the world. wherever it was between 2pm and 3pm at any given moment, was the acoustic place to be for the two. thus they took us on a hypnosonic journey around the globe. the source material could be radio but also any other audio signal like tv, web-streams like hydrophones from the ocean floor or even seismic data.
